7 days, 7 pictures

1- One of the furthest field from the house. One of my favourite.
2- Spiders are everywhere.
3- Our new fig tree.
4- We found this little thing by the sea side, meowing and rolling on the ground but never let us touch her or get near.
5- Rainy day at the beach.
6- I want to live in this house. This art deco building is absolutely surreal in the Breton landscape.
7- Foggy boat ride.

7 days 7 pictures - Nantes Edition

It is not Sunday and there are more than seven pictures and I missed a week. This place is a mess! We came home last night and Aurélie arrives tomorrow but I promise that things will be back to normal soon!

1. Always makes me wish I was sitting by the Mississippi drinking one at the Café du Monde in New Orleans.
2. Big Baba au rhum.
3. Three Emperors who travelled all the way from China with us many years ago. It wasn't easy.
4. Head.
5. To toes.
6. The sweetest, nicest cat in the world. Very old and fat by now.
7. Curiosity cabinet.
8. Mini Baba au rhum.
9. Cooked Baba au rhum. We ate a lot of Baba au rhum.
10. Traditional Moroccan couscous made from scratch by my mum. The best dish ever.
11. Pretty bouquets. Now on my nightstand.
12. Talansac market in Nantes.
13. Back from the market.
14. Skull like plant.

1. I have to photograph and pet any horse I see.
2. Seaweed nail polish. "Uh Oh Roll Down The Window" by O.P.I. (Yes I drove 25 minutes into the city to buy a nail polish)
3. The pine trees along the cost my great-grand-dad helped to sow while he was working as a gardener in a castle after being in the French Calvary during the WWI.
4. Stroll on my favourite beach.
5. Stroll on a secret desert pebble beach we discovered near Perros-Guirec after taking a forbidden path.
6. Day out in a stud farm for a work horse beauty show. That gives you an idea of the size of their feet...
7. Today's lunch starter. More on that soon.

My excuses for not posting this on Sundays are getting worse and worse. Is hand tilling the vegetable patch until your brain dead one?

1. I've been painting a lot this week. See a few on my Etsy shop, already a few are gone.
2. I'm always saving snails. I love snails.
3. We manage to finally save an apple tree which was surrounded by tall bamboo. It's the reason why he grew laying on the floor to escape.
4. I baked an apple and raspberry cake for Tom's birthday. Recipe to come.
5. Our land is beautiful.
6. We have my grand-parents 60's trailer parked on the land. I used to play in it when I was a kid. We can't get in anymore. We have to find a way, those flowery seats are too amazing to rot away.
7. We cleared a little pond from weeds and I found many many tadpoles. I love tadpoles. At least as much as snails.

7 days - 7 pictures

Here is a little new project. I wanted to do the 365 project and have a picture a day but it felt a bit ambitious, and then the 52 project felt like not enough, I can't choose just one picture a week. So here it is, seven pictures for seven days. There are days without pictures and, well, obviously some pictures were taken on the same day. I hope you will like it.

1. Doughnut peaches from the market. Perfectly sweet and tasty.
2. Record sorting for our new shelf.
3. Dinner out, view on the harbour, low tide.
4. Chapel where we exchanged our rings almost a year ago.
5. Daily outfit to work on the land: jeans and wellies. Little stroll in the river.
6. Hay hay hay and more hay.
7. Homework.
