I am amazed by what an unattended garden for the last 7 years can still give. The trees are heavy with apples, walnuts and hazelnuts. We only have a few pears and very few berries though. I need to find different ways to preserve all those apples for the winter. Any ideas, suggestions, recipes?
The next step will be to start a vegetable garden and I have no clue what I am doing. Vegetable books are my new bedside table reads.
